Opus Overview

Hanon’s The Virtuoso Pianist (Part 1) is a daily technique staple for serious learners, built to develop finger independence, evenness, strength, and clean control through focused, repetitive patterns. Practice the Part 1 exercises with a traditional score layout and interactive tools designed for deliberate work—note and timing feedback, tempo control, looping, and measure-by-measure coverage so you can isolate weak bars and track real improvement. Create a free account to add dynamics practice (calibrated touch), saved progress, and deeper accuracy insights; premium unlocks more studies and transposition options where supported.

Begin with the metronome set at 60, gradually increasing to 108. Lift the fingers high with precision and play each note clearly.
