Ludwig Van Beethoven

Ludwig van Beethoven (1770–1827), a German composer and pianist, was a pivotal figure in the transition from the Classical to the Romantic era. Universally regarded as one of the greatest composers of all time, he transformed the scope and emotional power of the symphony, sonata, and string quartet. Despite progressive deafness, he produced some of his most profound works, including nine Symphonies and 32 Piano Sonatas, celebrated for their powerful, innovative structure and emotional intensity.
