Ruhollah Khaleqi

Ruhollah Khaleqi (1906–1965) was an Iranian composer, conductor, music educator, and writer who played an important role in the development of modern Persian classical music. A student of Ali-Naqi Vaziri, he helped preserve Iran’s musical traditions while promoting orchestral performance and formal music education. His works remain admired for their expressive melodies, refined arrangements, and strong connection to Iranian musical culture.
