Octaves Ascending/Descending 2-Octave (1/4 Notes)
Two-octave octaves ascending and descending in 4/4 time develop range, direction changes, and endurance within a controlled tempo. Quarter notes give enough space to prepare the wider movement, keep octave alignment secure, and listen for an even sound across the keyboard. This exercise connects technical control with a clear sense of melodic contour.
