Sing the slurred upper line in 3/4, shaping the little turn figures without rushing. In the accompaniment, keep the broken pattern even while holding the sustained “anchor” note for its full value. Through the louder middle and the final crescendo, keep the tone round and the hand loose—same legato, just more sound, not more force. Exceeding the compass of an octave, on white keys only.
