Keep the left-hand broken intervals dry, even, and rhythmically exact, while the right hand places the short chord/interval answers cleanly on top. Shape the written crescendos without pushing the tempo, then at the forte keep the left hand just as controlled while the right hand launches into the long, slurred scale passage under the 8va line—smooth, even, and clearly voiced over the continuing staccato bass.
